Greetings from Mountain Art Festivals, Mark Beling, Director
The Highest Quality (and altitude) Art Festivals in America!
The 27th Annual Breckenridge July Art Festival * July 2,3,4 We are very excited about the 2010 show as it will be held in a new location in the center of Breckenridge at Ridge Street and Washington Avenue – in the heart of the Breckenridge Arts District!
Mountain Art Festivals is collaborating with the Town of Breckenridge and Friends of the Arts District to enliven and enrich the Arts District on the July 4th weekend. The Town and Friends are thrilled to host the July Art Festival and all of our talented artists. In addition to the Art Festival, the Arts District will hold artists demonstrations, a chalk art contest and other activities throughout the weekend which will highlight both the Art Festival and the Arts District. This is a premier location with booths limited to 100 10x10 booth spaces. This is sure to be a very large draw for the Festival – it is very visible from Main Street and all the weekend activities.
The 9th Annual Breckenridge Main Street Art Festival * July 23,24,25 will once again be held at the north end of town at Main Street and Wellington Rd. (the same location as last year). This location enables the show to be Much Larger, adjacent to the BIG parking lots, easier set up & tear down, AND held on the busiest weekend of the summer in Breckenridge. IT’S A WIN, WIN Situation.
The 35th Annual Gathering at the Great Divide Art Festival September 4,5,6 same location as last year. The tradition lives on!
The Town of Dillon will host the 4th Annual Dillon Art Festival* July 16, 17, 18 in downtown Dillon. The Dillon Art Festival is presented in cooperation with the Town of Dillon is a 3rd year show we are very excited about! The Town is excited to have us, the artists from last year were well received and liked the venue according to their end of show Questionnaires, and if you haven’t been to Dillon, you will love it. It is a beautiful lakeside mountain resort community in Summit County located in the center of the world’s greatest ski resorts. Just 2 miles off of I-70, with Keystone Resort 5 miles to the southeast and the high end ranches and developments north of Silverthorne 5 miles to the north. The views from town of the Lake and the mountains are breathtaking. This location will give you access to the many affluent residents and visitors of these communities who will not travel to Breckenridge to our other festivals.
The Town of Breckenridge and Town of Dillon staff continue to be very supportive of our events.
We hope you will join us in Breckenridge and Dillon, Colorado this summer!
Sincerely,
MARK |
